Crew and supporters have arrived in Salem, MA. The boat is in the marina here after a troubled delivery involving mechanics, fuel issues, and other niggles. All good now (we hope).
Went out for a sail today in gentle breeze, and spent a few hours dodging rocks and fishpots, before heading in for final chores of the day.
Another sail tomorrow, then final dinner and fireworks before the long slog to Halifax. Long because of the forecast light conditions, but who knows.
Spent the evening eating all the oysters in Salem – think we succeeded.
